Students have had various talks through form class, SPHE and Inspire Study Skills seminars to know how and best practice to study techniques. Our school Study Hub has been restocked and students are welcome to use various resources to help them in the lead up to their exams.   • We are delighted to share with you a series of radio programmes produced by Dundalk FM about the history of Christian Brothers’ Education in Dundalk. The first two programmes recall the history of CBS Primary and the third and fourth programmes were recorded in Coláiste Rís.  The interviewers are some of our current Sixth Year students, who were in Transition Year at the time of recording in April 2022.  They provide a snapshot of our school through the decades, as they interviewed pupils who attended the school from the 1950s to the present day.  They talked to current and former […]

  • Applications are now open for the Louth Garda Youth Awards 2024.  These awards recognise the very positive contribution that young people aged between 13 and 21 are making in their communities. Awards will be considered for nominated young people who, by their activities, make their communities a better place to live or who have shown great determination in their own lives. Nomination forms are available from Ms. Lawless in L1.  The closing date for applications is Tuesday 7th May 2024.

This is a great opportunity to tour the college campus, speak to students and lectures about various courses, connect courses to careers, research what is being taught through the college modules, know the facilities, clubs and societies.
