DKIT Open Day and Specific Degree Workshops

DKIT SPRING OPEN DAY

DkIT Spring Open Day takes place this coming Wednesday 21st April (5:00 – 7:00pm) with a main focus on Student Life, Experience and Learning.

The event will be Student-led and the agenda for the event is:

17:00 – 17:30 Pathways to DkIT

During this session, hear stories from real students about their unique pathways into DkIT including standard CAO applicants from North and South, international, mature and those who progressed from Further Ed.

17:30 – 18:00 Hands-On Learning – What Does This Mean?
DkIT prides itself on being a leader in practical-led learning, but what do we mean by this and why is it important? Well, there are none better to explain this than our students. Students will talk us through real projects they have created as part of their courses, and learn about the facilities, practical classes and supports available to them to make it happen.

18:00 – 18:30 DkIT Life Outside the Lecture Hall

At DkIT we know that the college experience is about so much more than the classroom. Hear from our students about what they get up to outside of class and learn more about the authentic student experience at DkIT.

18:30 – 19:00 Career-Focused Graduates

DkIT graduates are highly employable with more than 94% gaining employment within 9 months of graduation. Hear real life experiences from students about how DkIT is preparing them for the workplace including real-life accounts of work placement and student projects. Find out how this has helped them gain confidence, new skills and in some cases even new careers.
